Thanks for bringing us up to date Physicist. That protest and the aftermath were scary times indeed. Little did we know that Don and Terri were paving the way for conservative activism in the streets of every city especially Palm Beach, FL.

You're right. That night changed things here ... forever.

As I protested against Clinton and Torricelli in Newark, NJ a few months later, Don and Terri’s experience was fresh in my mind.

The March For Justice was shocking as it represented the first mass gathering of conservatives of people who saw through Clintons. I was a lurker then but signed up shortly after I witnessed that event on CSPAN. The street protests in cities like Philly, Newark, New York, LA, DC and other liberal bastions was an even greater shock to the petty regimes that had the monopoly on protesting. Don and Terri were among the ground breakers in this effort.

We are fortunate that no other FReepers have had to endure the same tribulations that Don and Terri have experienced throughout these years. I don’t know if such an event could even occur now. However, should a FReeper get a beat down by the loyal thugs of the corrupt local machine, the courage and perseverance Don and Terri have demonstrated will be an example to all.
