Man Suspected of Bin Laden Link Accused of Fraud
Washington (AP) - A Herndon man who allegedly delivered a satellite-phone battery to Afghanistan for Osama bin Laden (news - bio) is now facing charges of immigration and mortgage-loan fraud.
The Washington Post reports Homeland Security officials say 43-year-old Tarik Hamdi - a native of Iraq - has not been arrested and is believed to be out of the country. Hamdi has not been charged for delivering the battery to bin Laden but the act is what prompted authorities to check him out.
Hamdi reportedly delivered the battery in May of 1998 while helping to set up an interview for ABC News. Bin Laden is accused of using the phone in connection with the deadly bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania - the same year. ABC News has not commented on its relationship with Hamdi.

A large backpack filled with gasoline was left on a Columbus bus. I have the link below from news channel 4, but no link yet about it being gasoline (I heard that on the radio). Also, just a few blocks away, a judge received some type of threatening letter from a person on a "criminal" list. Developing...will update as I hear more.
