A note to all:

Joe allbaugh former FEMA Director, says it could take 10 days to get relief trucks in. They showed them all lined up and I asked myself why is it taking so long!!

As we have said many times everyone needs to be prepared to fend for themselves for weeks if need be. Use this as an example!!!

Multiple bridges have been wiped out and many others are not passable yet because of flooding. The pontoon bridge over lake Pohachtran (sp) is open only to light emergency vehicles. Many roads are washed out and still flooded. Until they can get the roads opened up, they can't get the supplies forward. One must be prepared for emergencies! Each depending upon the potential disaster.

That's what I've been thinking about for the last 24 hours or so.

Help is so slow to arrive that it's stunning.
