SNIP (unnamed gang): Thirty members of a gang alleged to have distributed drugs and charged with at least five murders in the past year were arrested over the weekend by federal agents, the U.S. attorney announced this afternoon in Rome.
The arrests capped an 18-month investiagtion that encompassed several counties in west Georgia and northeast Alabama. The arrests were made in Cedartown; Rome; Centre, Ala.; St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Jacksonville, Fla.
