The danger of this storm, is more than the damage to where it hits.

The fleeing residents have taken every motel room within
150 miles and it will be even further than that, it was so a few years ago when the fleeing crowd went to Huntsville,
Alabama and of course other areas.

My daughter said that taking care of the people who arrived there, without supplies, money, or a place to go put a strain on the area.

No, I am not complaining, as if I had to run through 3 or 4 states looking for safety, I too would be broke and have no place to go.

What I am thinking of this morning is the ships that were blocking the entrance to New Orleans or that area.

I recall a couple of ships running into each other, then when the harbor was opened after a week or so, there was another accident in the same place and the shipping channel was blocked again.

A cruise ship was caught in the harbor, at dock and stuck there, full of tourists.

The ship accidents were six months to a year ago.

My prayers for each of the residents, who are living through this nightmare.
