So the monkey pox exposure was in 2003 and they report on it 8/8/05...as interesting as the report that says we now have an avian flu vaccine that works (so why are they still dropping like flies in SE Asia?)
Panic quellers are starting their drumroll.

Monkey pox was reported by WHO in 2003 and 2004.
I do not recall the details, but do recall the posts arriving.
Calpernia did a lot of research on Monkey Pox last year.
As I recall, we agreed that it would be a simple to introduce biohazard for the terrorists.
The latest yuppie fad is importing dogs from other countries, not the papered pure breds, but off the street curs.......
Of course some of the dogs arrived here with narcotics in them, easy shipping.
Disease could be imported also.
I think that i worry more about diseases to our birds and livestock for food.
The animals die or have to be killed.
Or if eaten for food, may spread the diseases.
They may contaminate the ground that they are on and make it unsafe for animals to graze on.
Anthrax lives on in the soil near the Canadian border and in Texas as I recall. There are often outbreaks of livestock with Anthrax.
