I agree.
The oil companies are raking in the dough.
What was perplexing in that article was the mention of a glut of oil in China. Here, I thought that the price of oil was high, mostly based on China's increased consumption.
Are they just hoarding it so WE can't keep well stocked?
Either that or they know something we don't. My guess is that their bunker mentality remains at a high level, so they'll stockpile anything they think they won't be able to get when their world goes to pot. I was mad at them last year when they started drawing down supplies of concrete for their massive dam project, to the point where we couldn't even get a walkway poured without a delay.
From your article at #2813
>>Codepink is joining hands with the Muslim Public Affairs Council to sponsor an event next month in Culver City, Calif., to help unveil a new book, "Why They Don't Hate Us: Unveiling the Axis of Evil" by Mark LeVine, a leftist activists who says an "Axis of Empathy" as the only strategy that can bring about a long-term solution to the war between radical Islam and the West.<<
Sponsored by Soros, no doubt.
(pppptttooooey!)
That's exactly what I'm worried about.
Concrete? See, I knew concrete has become very expensive, but never knew why.
Once again, I've learned something new on TM and it's only 9:00am here. :-)

Discovery of possible bomb leads to arrests, evacuation of area (Puyallup, WA)
Three men were arrested in Puyallup on Monday after police found three guns and a suspicious device, possibly a bomb, in the car they were riding in, a police spokeswoman said.
Officers, acting on a tip that the men were armed, pulled over a late 1990s Chevrolet Caprice at 31st Avenue S.E. and South Meridian at 5:50 p.m., said Lorri Ericson, Puyallup police spokeswoman. They found the weapons and the device after they searched the men and the vehicle, she said.
Officers called the Pierce County Bomb Squad and evacuated a nearby convenience store and a day-care center. They also closed a section of South Meridian from the 3000 block to the 3200 block, Ericson said. The area was still closed as of 9:45 p.m., and bomb squad officials were trying to determine exactly what the device was, she said.
Ericson said she did not know where the men would be held.

The Caprice must be a vehicle of choice for jihad wannabees. That's what the beltway snipers (as opposed to the Beltway Boys) were driving when they had their 15 minutes in 2002, while everyone thought they had a white van.
Hi V....it seems that since 9/11 there have been more than a few incidents in and around this area with regard to IIRC munitions being found, videotaping et. al. Once I have a little time I will try to post the previous incidents.
Inside the Kansas Threat Integration Center
TOPEKA, Kan. - (KRT) - In an underground room of the State Defense Building, behind two locked doors, an office hums with activity.
Inside this concrete bunker left over from the Cold War, two televisions flicker with images from CNN and Fox News. A bank of glowing computers lines one wall. Another is adorned with maps of Iraq and Kansas, just two of the places where the Kansas National Guard now serves.

In one bulletin this summer, for example, officers learned of bomb threats at four Wal-Mart stores in Kansas, a person using a bogus name to apply to be a flight instructor in Wichita, an ultralight aircraft flying over a nuclear power plant in Iowa. It is up to law enforcement authorities to determine whether the incidents are connected.

The CBBT has been touted for many years as a tourist attraction, so a laminated picture may not be that unusual. What the heck did the Arabic writing say, though? If it said, "Dear Fatima, you're right, this is a magnificent achievement and truly one of the seven modern wonders..." it's a lot different from "Place the device here." That said, I would love to be the guy who votes a terrist off the second island into the path of an oncoming DDG.
Hi guys. I hope you're reading TM regularly.
