I don't think she's being used at all. If anything, she's the one doing the using.
I'm not one who automatically assumes that there was a loving parent-child relationship in such cases. I am sorry for the death of her son, but for him, not for her. One is not necessarily a mother because one gave birth to a child. With her Marxist background, I'd lay dollars to donuts she didn't approve of his entering the military, and it's a better than even month bet that he did so to get away from an unhappy home life.
Now that the young man has died tragically, she gets her 15 minutes of fame and turns his death into a Marxist cause celebre. Sorry. That [boy am I ever itching to use a blue word]...chick gets no sympathy from me whatsoever. I hope she stays out in the Texas sun for the next several weeks and fries her brains out.
Well, I certainly lit your fire, didn't I? LOL .. let's just say that the using is mutual. As far as I know, until her brave son was killed and her venom and bitterness took a public face, she was anonymous. I'm sure her ideology and resentment led her to the protest groups, and then she became all to willing to join with them and they with her.
I am really curious as to who was on that bus. Someone organized that trip. I will try to find out some information about it tomorrow.
But meanwhile, I am going to talk to my local talk radio about this woman.
