I really needed to see this! Little Susan and her family are giving me hope that all is not yet lost.
I have had a difficult time in my faith journey since Terri's murder. God is good to show me that He sees the whole picture, and I only see one small portion.
I figured some of us could use a little cheer!
God can speak to those who want to hear Him, on His own sweet time.
And sometimes (I can verify from my own life) no answer is the answer - just letting me know He is the master, I am the servant, and He calls the tunes!
But He is always there, every second.
Please. please don't despair!
Fr. John Corapi, in his beautiful meditation on Good Friday, deals with this. He asks, "Who could believe that out of the greatest evil ever perpetrated--Deicide, the creatures kill God--the Lord allowed to come the greatest good, our redemption!"
Indeed. God's way are not our ways. He sees the big picture always and we are assured that He wins in the end!
Blessings!
Frank
It will be difficult for any of us to see all the good coming from the legacy of Terri and her murder. It has left an indelible mark on our country and the world. We who have been close to Terri's martyrdom have been so overwhelmed by the evil assaulting our senses that it is hard to see the good springing up. But here we can see. There is more out there coming each day.
