I guess it's a truism that the left lies and accuses conservatives of doing the very things that the left is ACTUALLY doing.

I'd bet my house the NYT doesn't report this. LOL

I heard about this on AM conservative radio out of WLS today. Wanted to check and see if there was a thread on FR (I was sure there was) and had to write the name of the organization that put on the report on the back of my hand, couldn't find a piece of paper in the car, LOL.

I took a lot of pleasure in emailing this and the links to my email list...especially to the libs, Bwahaha!

I'll send this to my e-mail group, prairie. That's a good idea and we can ensure it will reach more people that way. Otherwise, folks will never hear about it.

Some day the GOP is going to understand it needs to hire freepers for their PR!

The conservative talkshow host who was talking about it today, made a point of the part that says the GOP has some history with this.....but repudiated the practice in 1982....over twenty years ago!

(D) Partisan Tactics In Colorado Voter Registration Drives

According to a 9 News report, a voter registration group operating in Colorado under the name “Choose 2 Vote” paid workers $3 for each Democrat or independent voter they registered and nothing for Republican applications. (167) The group admitted to only being interested in Democrat registrations:

How interesting! And yet, we heard it is the conservatives who supressed the vote in 2000 and again in 2004.

But as you pointed out earlier, this is their modus operandi. They project their own reprehensible behavior and rhetoric on their "enemy" (Pubs) in a transparent attempt to fool people and shift attention.

I suppose it works with some....particularly Leno's Man on the Street types. (rolling eyes!)

BTW---off topic.

Did you see Tony Snow on the Beltway Boys last night? He subbed for Fred and he was so good...

Anyway...I wonder if he will cover this, and the Cindy Sheehan brouhaha tomorrow....I hope he is sure to point out the lies and propaganda that Sheehan is spouting...

Also, regarding this voting report...Tony needs to get ole John Conyers on his show...remember Conyers was wanting to take the whole darn House of Representatives to Ohio for congressional hearings into how the REpublicans cheated...LOL, he hee

This is very good stuff. It will take awhile to absorb.

Did anyone see any info on prosecutions for fraud in the material?

That is the key, imo, to stopping fraud. We need some hefty prison sentences....unfortunately these people usually end up with a slap on their hands by a liberal judge.

you're right, lion, about prosecutions are needed and more likely than not, it would only be a slap on the hand....so, there's never going to be deterrent.
