I trusted Bush and the Republicans until Bush stood up and invited the whole of Mexico to come to this country to take jobs away from Americans - and the Republicans were too weaselly to challenge him on it. (A few did - but they have suffered from it) The grief I feel at that betrayal is overwhelming.
We're at a point in American politics where treasonous treaties and destructive ideas rule every aspect of American lives. There is no way out for us, as we are surrounded by corrupt politicians who don't care about America.

Dubya' has shown this to be a most formidable trust and has been an admirable leader in doing so. (IMO)

Perhaps, however the "free market" shows that we are doing well and if a change is demanded, then what is the change you require in your mindset?
After all, we are a "free society" and this is what has given us our prosperity that is so enticing to illegals.

There is no way out for us, as we are surrounded by corrupt politicians who don't care about America. Just a few years ago, I would have disagreed. But some of the events in the past several years have change my thoughts, and have made me very cynical towards most all those in D.C.
