I always thought that the mascots schools used were good things.

For example, I don't think you would have too many schools called the Nerds, the Geeks, the Terrorists.

I went to Texas A&M and we are the Aggies. So is it bad to use Aggies. Is it deragotory to call an agriculatural person an aggie.

I think the American Indians should be proud to have so many schools using them as mascots. It means the schools think they were brave and strong.

Derogatory? Why calling any one an aggie is a good way to start a fight in most parts of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisianna, Kansas, and Arkansas.
