The Washington Post is far superior to the New York Times. Even my liberal senior citizen father says so. He dropped the weekly edition of the New York Times and kept the Washington Post weekly edition. I read his copy sometimes and am surprised at how well written it is. And with a fair balance of subject matter.
And, total vanity, the WP Sunday Crossword Puzzle is something I can finish (though I do have to sometimes look up the pop culture references). The NY Times puzzle is for classics majors.
