She worked alongside MT for many years. I hardly think there is any misunderstanding, but rather enlightenment.

It's amazing to me that so many people just overlook the obvious. Simply astounding.

You mean, JUST LIKE YOU'RE IGNORING that

MILLIONS of dollars have been collected and deposited into offshore and Swiss Banks while the poor and poverty strickened in Africa and Yassar Arafats people remain poor and poverty stricken. You seem really confused about a lot of things.

I don't know where to begin to address the assumptions, presumptions, issues, and misinformation that you've apparently chosen to believe hook, line and sinker, so I won't. You sympathize with the author, that's your business. Clearly the piece will have that effect on some people -- people who want more reasons to hate the Church.

You surround yourself with those whose viewpoints support and or articulate your own, which is exactly what you're supposed to do, to be consistent.

But I will let you in on a little secret: I don't know what "Catholic talking points" are, and that's where your prejudice is clearly exposed. You presume, apparently, that someone who disagrees with you -- you whose view is being presented as though beyond question, that is -- is merely parrotting someone elses "playbook."

Who's doing your thinking for you? Have you personally researched everything you or the author are accusing Mother Theresa and Catholics of? Get back to me when you've done your homework. [rhetorical]
