If that's the case why don't we have Bush nominate George Clooney as a supreme curt judge, after all it only counts once you're on the bench right? Anything before that is unrelated, clearly Clooney would morph from liberal slime to conservative upon being presented robes and a hammer.

That's up to Bush, not me. Contact the white house if you want George Clooney on the bench.

Bush has a better judicial record than other Presidents in recent history IMO, I have no reason to believe that record has somehow changed.
