mad i have always held out hope for mccain , inspite of his somtimes poor judgement. but this could be a problem for him. you know this will be a big deal during the repub. playoffs.

I don't think this is illegal. In fact, it's common practice for the Dems, so I would hesitate to rub McCain's nose it unless we're going to hold the Dems similarly accountable.

Different standards applied. The only reason the Old Media isn't all over this is that, as compared to other R's, they love John McCain. So his S##t doesn't stink. But if he won the R nomination and was running against Hillary, this (or something like it) would be a number one story for weeks.
