Oh hon...I never thought you were making light of the vacation thing. This will just be different. Our first time there last month was VERY difficult... It was always Mr. D and my intention to buy it...BUT...we really avoided the place and questioned whether that was what we wanted. It was tough...BUT we also realized we LOVE the place and that's where we want to be. I'm sure there will be bittersweet times this time too. But we must move on.

What a sweet bittersweet tale about your family place. I look back and really wish I had spent more time "getting to know" my grandparents when I was younger. So much history and so much to tell. Love you Nan.

Why sho nuff, kind Lady.

I was brought up to believe in the right things and to always be a gentleman. This means I do the following:

Open doors.
Carry heavy things.
Mean it. My word is my bond.
Make a living.
Live your beliefs.
Abolish government. Smaller is better.
Do unto others.
Smile.
Be responsible.
Expect resistance.
