According to Congressman Billybob:
"CIVIL contempt, meaning refusal to answer the questions of the Grand Jury, ends when that jury's term ends. And that term was set when that jury was first empaneled. However, if a new Grand Jury is empaneled to continue the same investigation, the witness can be called again, and again imprisoned for failure to answer. This, however, is very unlikely."
"CRIMINAL contempt, which means failure to answer questions before a court, does not have such a time limit. Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald can pursue criminal contempt against Judith Miller. If he feels that she is in the middle of a criminal activity, and that he can prove it, this is the option he would follow, other than simply letting her walk out in October."

Lancey, thanks. Billybob is an authority. I hope he goes for criminal contempt. The investigator is no friend of Miller anyway as she blew an earlier investigation into Arab charities connected with terrorists. She deserves the full justice of the law.
