Your friends must be pretty snobby if they would not offer to help you out when you needed it. That's what friends are for.

I've helped by friends take down sheds, fix roofs, remove trees, replace flooring, hang drywall. My only wages - they buy the beer. In return, they've help me fix my truck, move, put up a fences, etc.

That's what friends are for. My friends and I help each other when it's needed. That's what Americans do and that's what made this country strong.

If your friends would help you when you need it they're not very good friends. But then again, you don't sound like someone that deserves true friends.

Well that's great that you have a lot of friends willing to work all day on your rental houses and investment properties for a six pack of beer. After all, that's what friends are for, right?

But that doesn't deny the fact that there is a big demand for day laborers and that very few Americans are willing to do the day laborer jobs.

PS: In Appalachia is a six pack a normal day's wage or are you being generous because they're your friends?
