My daughter complains that everything reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. Larry David was shooting a scene at the HB Pier for his HBO show a few months ago. Seems like it was a beach scene and they wanted to make him look like he was being rescued by the lifeguards. He got unlucky and picked a very windy/cold day - it was probably a bit more realistic than he wanted. He was in the freezing water without a wetsuit for 5-10 minutes per take (everyone else got to wear one). Yipes!

That's a pretty good show, but a bit over-the-top sometimes with the foul language. Now when I watch Seinfeld re-runs, I start looking for the Larry David influence. In his world, every social situation is only one misplaced word or glance away from chaos or road rage. Kind of like here in FR. :-)
