Quite a list.
Boy, those democrats sure stand for peace and tolerance don't they?

Excellent post Checkers.
I personally saw much vandalism during my weekend stumps in several states...it was unreal... the venom, the hate...it was evil.

peace and tolerance - No, they LIE about that, too.
If we are to save democracy (in the true sense of the word), these cases of Nazi-like behavior need to be hammered hard in the courts.

I'm really glad to see that somebody was documenting all the democratic incidents. I checked out the
Republican incidents because I remembered reading a statement (from AP or NYT) like, "while both sides were guilty of intimidation, ... ."
Interestingly enough, the list of Republican incidents appears to be mostly just broad accusations/allegations made by folks like McAuliffe, etc., based on their interpretation of public statements rather than any documented violence or vandalism.

IF Dems spent as much time working towards legitimately increasing their voting totals, as they did towards sabotaging Republican's, they'd do a lot better in elections. Fortunate for conservatives that they haven't figured out how to harness all that hatred.
As an aside, and please don't flame me.....Are there any 'legitimate' cases of Republican intimidation of Democrats? I have not heard of any, but then, I don't surf DU. And by legitimate, I mean, real incidents like those detailed in the article.....not theories about how Bush conspired with Exxon to raise gas prices to keep minorities away from the polls, etc etc etc.

Thanks for the list of (R) incidents. Not much there to go on, but the website seems a little conservatively biased as well.
The reason why I ask is that I was just having this discussion recently. I figured (incorrectly, it looks like) that 'dirty tricks' probably were about even on both sides. Maybe not.
There's little doubt in my mind that Dems have a monopoly on voter fraud for right now. I still think that it's repugnant, regardless of the party doing it.

There was some phone jamming of the Dems in New Hampshire. Some Republican big wig has been charged and is going to trial soon.

The reason the dems are so adamant and unyielding when it comes to voter-ID cards, is because it makes it much harder to do what they have been getting away with. In King Co,Wa. for example, there were thousands of dead voters who miraculously made it to the polls to vote the Democratic Party ticket. The dems know that voter-ID cards would elect many more republicans thru-out the USA, so an honest and fair election process is the last thing on their minds.
