Looks like you and MarineBrat (and the others) were right.
When he lowers his hand the thumb is clearly visible.

There is this great sickness going on in the world attacking the central nervous systems of people getting more attention than they rightfully deserve -- and because of that, they implode from the pressure of celebrity and fame that was never rightfully theirs. But since they got a column in the New York Times/Star Tribune. their heads exploded with vanity and conceit, encouraged by their sadistic editors who delighted in their foolishness before their eventual utter humiliations they would bring upon themselves.

"But when you view the video, as I have, there isn't much doubt: George Bush, who promised to change the tone in Washington and restore dignity to the highest office in the land, deliberately flipped off the press."
What an idiot. Where do these come from?

Thanks for the ping to proof positive.

That such articles are even published in these newspapers are a measure of how far journalism has fallen.
This columnist, along with Helen Thomas, has the mental maturity of a 3rd grader.

I haven't written about President George W. Bush all year, and that suits me fine. I get tired of calling presidents liars, and he doesn't care what some blue-state hack thinks. Ok, so the next logical step would be to - STFU!

The only person I've ever seen with a thumb like that is Richie Havens.

But forget the finger. The real problem is the attitude of a president who flips the bird to representatives of the public -- however downtrodden, defeated and demoralized we press jackals might be.....this is for you Nick

Nick Coleman is a blotto'ed Liberal hack from twentyfive years ago at the Strib's predecessor. He was punch-drunk when they got him. Still is.
To: threeleftsmakearight
Speaking of Coleman, what's the "real" story of him getting dumped from his local Hair America shows?
