I agree. Considering how many gentle dogs are available to own as pets, I have to wonder why some people prefer to own dogs that are known to "freak easily."

They use them as guard dogs for their house and family and WANT them to be vicious.

People often make a big mistake trusting dogs that "look friendly" or are a supposedly "gentle breed".
An animal is an animal and one cannot always be sure of their behavior unless they are well trained.
My collie wass the sweetest dog ever, but she, like any dog, was capable of snapping or biting.
Often when folks say "I didn't do anything, I don't why the dog did that", that only means they didn't see or hear what the dog saw/heard.
