When my daughter was 3 years-old, my wife and I took her for a walk in the neighborhood. As we were strolling through our townhouse village, she suddenly shot like a cannonball to a huge Rottweiler being walked by a neighbor. I was panicked, and ran after her.
She reached the dog before I did, and playfully began beating him on the head saying "Puppy! Puppy!"
The Rott's reaction was to blink hard every time she busted him on the head. He stoically took his pounding until I picked her up and carried her away.
