Not sure if you do. My point was that certain actions (if properly carried out) can be more effective than using a firearm. (Did I just say that?!?)

Ahhhh, gotcha. I was focused on the wrong thing. I guess if one can keep themselves focused enough to "go for the throat" they could try. *shrug* I'll keep the hollow points in my .40 cal aimed at the dog. Should clean out a big enough hole to stop it better than ball rounds.
