Geez, what a Crock of chit! The dems are at it again with their..."We lost the race but it was close. And because it was close that means that by just losing we actually won..."

Curiouser and curiouser!

... Hackett complained about politicians who "use the war to wrap themselves in the American flag" ...

But if you look at his website, and watch his television commercial, that is exactly what he does.

His website [http://www.hackettforcongress.com/] is heavy on the patriotism, but nearly absent of party affiliation. (You have to browse the posted newspaper clippings to find out Mr. Hackett's party affliation.) This isn't the bellweather, that the Democrat's we touting, but a comfirmation, that the Democrat's have to run from their liberal image, just to get the chance to win.

I heard Hacketts 'Hatchet job' commercial yesterday on Rush. This guy is the same 'Kerry' type of phoney baloney ex military 'hero'. He condemns Bush and the excursion into Iraq, yet uses a possitive tape of the President in his ad as if the President favored this POS in the election. He had a mega lead till the word got out that he was a phoney. Thank God, and thank you Jean Schmidt. Ohio does it again for America.

Curiouser and curiouser!

Not So...the 'RAT ran as a "ME too" Democrat, he had ran in an election w/ low voter turnout, the GOP Cand. had an long history of BIG PRO-TAX votes..."maybe a shot across the bow warning" to her, BE SMART, NO NEW TAXES.

"He has said that if he lost the election, he planned to accompany his unit when it is ordered back to Iraq. " I wonder if this 'marine' knows the definition of FRAG.

this was the second attempt for liberals to misrepresent themselves as more to the right than what they are
let us not forget that hillary is the inventor of this so called donkey science project
the bottom line is it is not the messenger but the message and it seems that even the wacko left has finally realized that this country has rejected liberalism
i feel the pain that they are feeling right now (heh, heh)

So, are the Dems still going to refer to this as a "bellwether election" or will thy just slink away and focus on their next "great idea"?

I expect Hillary to go volunteer at the nearest recruiting station today and be "saddened" when they tell her she is too old to go to Iraq. All of this will be videotaped for campaign commercials, of course.

This democrat ran as a conservative in his commercials, never naming his party, and still lost.

Every liberal journalist is calling this a close election.

They are complete idiots, just like their friends over at DUh.

He should really think about going back... his fellow Marines have seen and heard the "real" hack-job. He would NOT be safe!

"This democrat ran as a conservative in his commercials, never naming his party, and still lost."

"We now know how to win in conservative areas. Speak the truth. Speak common sense. Talk about the future and what's best about ourselves and our communities, and we can win." This from a DU post. Anyone care to analyze this "logic"?
