So wonderfully Californian, Marsha Weidman's home has it all--along the beach, far from noisy traffic, with a Jacuzzi used to watch sunsets over the Pacific.
For this, she and her husband recently paid $1.05 million.
For that, they got a trailer, built in 1971, without any land.

Such decisions. Compton or this.... *sigh*
thats above paradise cove right?
Most new mobile homes may still look plain on the outside, but the interiors of the expensive ones can be very attractive, unique, and spacious. I'm not sure worth 1 million, but it's all relative. High-end motor homes (Winnebago-types) can go for $500,000+.
I don't care how rich you are. That's crazy.
At least homes in Compton are permanently attached dwellings, even if artificially ventillated frequently by 9mm bullets..
$1.05 million for a 1971 trailer on a leased lot? A person would have to be dumber than a bag of dirt to do that.
the view is nice though.
Here's a photo gallery of these million dollar trailers.

You Left coast types have apparently just caved in to the madness. At what point does the great weather pale in comparison to the compromises you folks are willing to make to live there? It's a TRAILER! It's a bloody $1M. And the state will soon belong to Mexico. And you folks think us hicks in the Midwest are not too sharp.
In 1987, I installed an arched 20 ft. window, in a San Francisco single home, for $45,000. The resulting view of the bay, increased that 1400 sq. ft. property value $500,000. It was standing at 1.2 mil, prior to the new "view." The only thing mobile in this article, is the income required to be "sandy footed chic," and on shaky ground, no less- lol...
Not sure! Sounds like it......
Oh. And you have mail.
Cuts down on the air conditioning costs though!
1. Bitching about how hard life is, and
2. Racing to up the ante in the "I'm stupider than you" race
The period of oscillation is about four years.

Malibu wont be Mexican for a while my friend.
Lipstick on a pig
The Malibu Hillbilly's.....
They said there's a space rental fee for the lot of $2,700 a month, I guess that's on top of payments. Shee####t!
You can get a really nice double wide for 50-60K and I think that's still too much.
Sucks to be paying a cool mill and still be trailer trash.
Is it just my computer or is that an earth quake zone.???
I could swear all those trailers are tilted down hill.
But going down hill is kind if the definition of trailers isn't it...
