Couldn't stay up to watch the end of this very tight race, but thanks to the Ohio Republicans who bothered to show up yesterday and to Rush, who undoubtedly helped get some people to go to the polls with his excellent commentary yesterday. Let this be a lesson for "solid Republican" congressional districts next year. Only Democrats can manufacture votes.
We just moved from Northern Kentucky to Northeast Ohio, land of liberals. I saw Hacketts TV spot and I thought he was a republican. Not until I saw the REAL republican spot did I realise I'd been had.

Excellent and well said. I heard Rush's commentary on this yesterday as well and, per usual, Rush hits it! I recently moved to Cincinnati, Hamilton County, (just next door to district 2), and was anxious to hear the results. Rush's 17 years observing the dems helped calm me over the 2004 election and helped me see what the dems are up to during every election. I was truly worried that our CIC was in danger of losing his residence.
