My point is it's emphasized in this case because it's a catholic school. I don't remember any other recent case of teacher on pupil sex (including cases where multiple counts were included) that was referred to as a sex scandal that rocked the school. Besides, referring to the two students (one of whom was of legal age) in this article as "multiple" is also a little misleading.

I'm still waiting on the usual posters who think its all a big joke cause the male students"liked it".
Yet they would get outraged to the max if it were a male student and the female students said they"liked it"!
