I have seen many non-smokers on this, and other threads who do like the smoke-free atmosphere (that's fine) but are totally against the idea of the forced bans that created it. I have no problem with those folks.

This describes me perfectly. I do dislike smoking atmospheres, but I really, really hate the mindset (and legislative intentions) of the anti-smoking Nazis. I would much rather have smokers in my midst than totalitarians in my government.

I'm glad to hear it.

I would much rather sit down and have a meal or a drink with someone like you in an establishment that is smoke free by choice than not have the choice of what type of atmosphere I would prefer to patronize.

I watched far too many of my friends with bars and restaurants financially hurt in Delaware to have any tolerance for anyone who pushes for the heavy hand of government to take care of their personal bugaboos.
