The great divide in our culture at the moment isn't political, or ideological, or socio- or economic, but is moral, or spiritual. Two generations ago, say, back in the immediate post-WW2 era, the election of Ike, around there, there was still what many have called a "Christian concensus" in that while many people may not have been believers, they still accepted many of the key moral teachings of our Judeo-Christian cultural tradition. No more. Many people have pitched common decency, common respect for others, respect for life, over the side. That's the main schism in our society today -- those who essentially respect others, respect life, elevate decency, act with self-control and civility, and those who do not. And we're accused of forcing our values upon others.

I couldn't agree with you more, and very well said, by the way.
My husband and I have discussed just what you are talking about. It is no longer a left vs. right, Liberal vs. Conservative, Republican vs. Democrat world. It is truly a good vs. evil time. People do not want to live with any kind of accountability. They want to do whatever they want with no consequences. It truly is a cancer eating away at our way of life. Then, add in the Muslim problem where world religious domination and intolerance is spreading like wildfire, and these are truly scary times.
People can say what they want about Savage, but I totally agree that Liberalism is a mental disorder, a disease.
