NC is sooo southern. But Maryland?
BTW I don't think Louisiana is that southern, more Caribbean if you ask me.
If you relocate from a true southern state to NC you will see a BIG different. I lived in Asheville, NC for a VERY short time. Not all that southern today. Of course the litmus test for determining today's mindset in NC has been pushed all the way back to the Civil War. lol
Yes.. having been married to a native North Carolinian for 25 years - and having lived there myself for 12 I can guarantee it's VERY southern in it's culture... laugh.

As to Louisiana - don't know about Carribean it's kind of a culture to itself dontcha think? ;-)
