Date of the Aruban election is September 23. The Arubans are more concerned in their elections than what the Americans think of their actions toward Tim Miller per Tito Lacle.

You're right, there is lots speculation being posted. Not all of it is speculation. The 3 guys created a false story of what happened, even before Natalee was publicly considered to be missing. The father of Juran was supposedly involved in the created cover-up. The cover-up caused two security gaurds to be arrested early on.
The 3 were allowed to run the streets and get rid of evidence *if* it existed, for approx 10 days. Their cars were not searched, nor their homes for several days. I doubt if the clothes they were wearing, when they were with Natalee, have ever been checked for evidence.
As far as a motive, who knows??? They may have done something with Natalee themselves or handed her over to someone else or innocently dropped her off some where. However, if they are innocent, why all the LIES???
The father of Juran and the former Police Chief are rumored to be very good friends. Yesterday we heard that the son of the former police chief and Juran are good friends. Therefore, there's a possibility of an intentional cover-up from the beginning. But then again - who knows for sure. Not me - I can't even keep all the witnesses straight. LOL
Okay have it your way, Natalee lived in a world of tea parties, nice young gentlemen, sodas after school, no skin showing, in bed at 10pm on the weekends and absolutley no mingling with the "others." And just to make sure nothing unpleasant enters her world there will be no newspapers, tv or contact with the outside world.
Tito Lacle and Lacle stated that when Tim Miller stated that they were going to make PVDS's life miserable the ALE considered that enough of a threat. Lacle also stated that they probably will warn Mr. Miller first and then if he continues they will deport him.

Very good question. In fact, I've heard the Dutch are known to discriminate due to class differences - Money and status being number one, with a possibility of actual race too.
In this case we don't know what the reason might be. It might be due to PVDS's connections to those in power rather than race.
