Why on earth does it have to be televised? It should be handled without the circus atmosphere. I was looking through some older stories on this subject, and it appears that this trial will be a circus with many, many clowns:
Saddam's legal team includes 1,500 volunteers and at least 22 lead lawyers who come from several countries, including the United States, France, Jordan, Iraq and Libya.
