In Oregon, "76' gives out a cheesy 'tank bank' card for free. Stop by and get one, then mail it to their HQ with appropriate comments. The Second Amendment insures all the rest!!!

That was one of the reasons that I was going in, although they dropped the amounts back they gave you recently...

Those "cheesy 'tank bank' cards" were great. For those of you who don't know what they are, they're cards that you would hand the clerk every time you purchased something on the list. For instance, a bottle of Snapple got me 5 cents, 2 1 liter bottle of water were on sale for $2 and you also got 5 cents again. Certain candy bars, pain relievers, and other items on the lists also got you "cents" off.

The key here though, is those cents off were CENTS OFF PER GALLON. For instance, I would stop off every monrning for 2 Snapples and 2 bottles of water. That worked out to .75 off of the price of every gallon of gas when I filled up. So when gas was $1.90 a gallon, I was paying $1.15 for 12 gallons, all because of that card and from buying stuff I was going to get anyway.

It was a pretty good deal at the time.
