Presumably you believe that II can be removed by waving a Magic Wand. Unfortunately it is an extremely complex and difficult problem and will take decades to resolve. But before ANY actions are effective the Cities which harbor Illegals and refuse to cooperate with Immigration authorities must have new leadership.

As long as people are desperate for work in Latin America they will come here for that work. That is the Long and Short of it no matter what we might wish and hope for. It should also be recalled that this is a new phenomenon never a concern during the first century and a half of our existence. Formerly we encouraged newcomers without much regard to their legality.

It is not one of the biggest problems we face no matter what one would believe from reading items on FR.
