Of course we are spied upon as we spy on others and disinformation is handed out by the barrel full, by everyone.
I've actually known, on a social level, people who worked at the UN. Like all "diplomats" ( and I use that word advisedly ) , they can and so say anything at all, as smooth as can be, but you never really know what's real and what isn't. But that isn't the point. The thing is, the UN is a corrupt disaster, but as long as it's here and we're a member, it best that we have someone like Bolton there.
Have you looked on FOX NEWS or ABC's web sites ?
The Proliferation Security Initiative is that separate alliance. It is the template for the organization that will replace the U.N. in the future.
As soon as Roberts receives the nomination, someone should move that Bolton's appointment be made permanent.....Second the motion and call for the vote... Quick and easy!

IMHO, nothing. The "usual suspects", Kerry, Boxer, Kennedy, Schumer, Durbin and a few extras will smear Justice Roberts with any and everything.
Nothing will come of this smearing and Roberts will be confirmed, hopefully in time for the next term, October 3rd.
It's going to be an interesting and exciting 2 months.

Absolutely no way. The nomination might be delayed by further request for unnecessary documents but this will be immediately labeled as a stalling tactic.
Unless there is a deep, dark secret in Robert's life (which is almost impossible) this guy will be a Supreme.
One would think after two weeks and the Democrats have found nothing serious, there is nothing serious to find. After all there is an army of literally thousands searching every utterance Roberts has made since infancy. Fun to watch.

Reasons to stay in the U.N: To not withdrawn from the world. To make our influence felt.
If all the nations of the world were to have a meeting and at that meeting were all the evil, good and somewhere-in-between nations, why the heck wouldn't I as the U.S. not want to be there. To spread our influence and make the world more like us.
If the evil nations of the world can't take our sovereignty at the UN, then there is one thing that they would want us to do. They would want us to withdrawn, go into isolation and never have our influence felt.
I say no way. I'd much rather be a pain in the ass and affect change.
I think Bush should have filled every spot that is open today....screw the dummycrats.
