Negroponte had nothing to do with the Oil for Food scandal

1] It occurred during his watch for nearly four years, regardless of when it started.

2] I too love Bolton. Picking Bolton for this job is like picking Luttig (which Bush should have done) for the SCOTUS job.

3] I too am "enthused" with the Bolton appointment. I just question why the man he replaced (Negroponte) is National Intelligence Director.

We get little glimmers of common sense now then (such as this Bolton recess appointment), but we still are overwhelmed with pc globalism and moves that are not in the best interest of the US but in the best interest of the UN and other nations.

But again, Bolton is great. And again, Paul Wolfowitz seemed to be a great pick for the World Bank, but Wolfowitz is now talking like Bono II as throwing money down more black holes seems to be the priority of Paul "Bono" Wolfowitz.

Will the libs send "I'm sorry" cards to the UN?

Without a doubt. Some DUer was suggesting that the DU send letters to the U.N. every time Bolton votes, saying that he doesn't represent the people.

Me too! Someday it will be a collector's item.

Young amatuers :). What's the deal with America and card decks? In the glory days of the cold war, some flightcrew had the "50 card deck". I won't explain it, nor will I comment, but talk about a keepsake.....;). There's plenty of old foggies on this forum that know precisely of what I speak.

The Bolton nomination is so inside-the-beltway. The MSM will try hard to whip up some kind of frenzy, but it's going to get a big yawn from the man and woman in the street.

One of the DUmmies says the only thing to do now is "armed revolution." Ewww, that can't be legal...

I'm sure Chucky Schumer has already scheduled a press conference with one of Bolton's former staffers.

I thought Chuckie just notified the media of the days he doesn't have a presser?

With what? Those tolerant libs wouldn't have any guns lying around, would they?

I have never understood the reasoning behind sitting out an election in protest.

"Reasoning" has nothing to do with it. A conservative group in Cincinnati ("COAST")has teamed up with a Left Coast group to run ads asking voters NOT TO GO TO THE POLLS tomorrow in the 2nd Congressional District race! What, do they think if nobody shows up the election will be called off?

And the DODDering one is unhappy that there will be no reprieve for his comrade in Cuba.

Laura Ingraham had some sound from an anti-war rally held in California this weekend, held by Barbara Lee and another congresswoman from Cal...

They were telling the crowd that "if Congress won't bring home the troops from Iraq right now, WE will!!!"

I got the impression that the DNC marching orders for August is anti-anything speeches all of the time...anti-Bush!!!

NOw, how do the dems think that Bolton is going to get the respect of the tyrants and dictators that make up the UN, if THEY are calling him illegitimate??? And how does that help the country?/
