At a recent hearing he pointed out that 3,000 illegal migrants caught trying to cross the border last year came from ''nations that have produced or have been associated with terrorist cells'' such as Somalia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Who'd ever thunk it?

WOD is a laugh. We may wish it wasn't, but DEA themselves tell us they only put a 10% dent in the trade. Also, like all bureaucrats, don't really want to abolish their reason to exist (were it truly too much of a hassle in the USA, dopesters would simply go to Mexico or Canada to indulge).

I can't help but think that if the next big terrorist act is traced back to an illegal Mexican border crossing, the general public will never hear about it. Too much bad publicity for our inept government to bear.

With an army of distributors crossing the border unsupervised every day Mexico should be the #1 illegal drug supplier to the U.S.

The neighbor that just keeps on giving and will NEVER have to clean up its act as long as it can dump its problems north of the border.

These are just good hearted people trying to support their families and smuggling the drugs that Americans won't smuggle and poisoning the children Americans won't poison.

Another reason to close the border and deport the illegal aliens. We have to stop the invasion to preserve this country.

Actually, no. Only those problems associated with corruption would be reduced. Overdosing losers will still be killing themselves in roughly the same numbers.
Only our in-house socialists here on FR believe otherwise. Are you one of them?

Mexican drug traffickers have shoved aside their counterparts in Colombia to take control of the $4 billion illegal drug trade in the United States. If illegal drugs were categorized as WMD, Mexico would be a classified as terrorist nation. Then HomeyLand Security could help out with the boarders.
The DEA is not part of HomeyLand Security and is worthless because $4 billion worth of illegal drugs are coming across the Vincent Fox boarder.
To: Prince Charles
They wouldn't go away but there would probably be less problems and of a different nature.
