Great work, as usual, BillF as well as tgslTakoma, kristinn, bufordP, and everybody else who has been faithfully showing up Code Pink for weeks and weeks.

My favorite moment last Friday is when the disabled serviceman started to return from our display towards the Walter Reed hospital, where the Pinkos were waving their placards. You have to move your wheelchair swiftly to cross the 6-lane Georgia Avenue. As he approached the centerline, the tall, skinny ding-a-ling stepped right in his path, to brandish his anti-war sign in front of the cars stopped for the light. Instinctively, our side yelled almost in unison, "Get out of the way and let a real man pass!"

Earlier in the evening, when the skinny leftist had come out into the street to hand agitprop flyers to the drivers, BufordP had called out, "Squeegee your windshield, two dollah!" It was hilarious. FReepers are so witty!

We also shouted, "Traitors at the gate! Traitors at the gate!" in reference to the Code Pinkos demonstrating on either side of the gateway to Walter Reed. A DC policecar posted itself inside the gate; the officer got out of the car to watch everything that went on, leaning on the fender and chatting with the equally attentive Walter Reed gate guard. I image they were privately cheering us on, since the police are regularly hamstrung by PC activist judges over "civil rights" complaints from anarchist protesters.

In my heart, I felt very sad that it has come to this: that the basic human decency that underlies our system of freedoms must be defended now.

TgslTakoma is astounding in her courage to call Code Pink to account for their support of terrorists in Fallujah. I watched as motorists, seeing our signs and hearing the things she was saying, would open their eyes and then give us the high sign out the window or the sunroof. Bingo! Bingo! Another one! And another! To hear her was like watching an expert marksman hitting a target.

Earlier, at the recruiting station FReep, the crazies spewed their nonsense, shrieking and referring to non-issues like racism and napalm that have no bearing on this war. It is as if they have been asleep since the 60s and only wish to relive those fun protest years back then -- the truth doesn't matter, only the thrill of adrenaline on their aging nervous systems. Near the end, finally Kristinn lifted his bullhorn and they actually fell silent to listen. They were expecting a trite slogan like their own, but he gave them a 2,000-word extemporaneous speech about their contemptible support of all things un-American, citing facts, dates and irrefutable truths. It was astonishing.

There are FReepers all over this country who are similarly educated about the issues and equally concerned that the PR war being waged by the Left will have the same results as it did in the 60s. But where were they on Friday night? I'm so grateful for the 16 of us who showed up. Next week, let's make it 25! Please join us!

In addition to Justanobody, several other FReepers also drive considerable distances to be with us. I promise you, it's worth the trip.

I recall us peaking at about 20 or 21 last Friday.

Albion, great account. Love the "real man" story.

We had 20 FReepers and lurkers at WR per named names in my report. I posted photos of everyone except myself and the two daughters.

I try to include everyone in at least one photo that is posted,(other than FReepers who ask not to be photographed and FReeper's children unless they & parents authorize. I probably only post about 1/4 of the photos that I take.

I inadvertantly neglected to post a photo of lurker Joan at WR, but did post a photo including her at the Recruiting Center FReep. And she did attend the second FReep.

Albion, re: #102, were you the one who said that the leftist's pastries were "French pastries?"
