It's a shame when we have to look towards Europe for pointers. That being said, I don't think that this will have much effect. Italy is just doing something to get rid of some of the built up public pressure. Ban the burqa and these animals will adapt. Come to think of it, when did they use the burqa in their schemes (they might have and I just haven't heard of it)? No, the way to get to them is to have laws that are a little more invasive than that and are not just examples of tokenism.

I'm sure there'll be an outcry from the Muslim population, but the right response is "If you don't like it, you can go back to where you came from."
