Another fad bites the dust, at least until it comes `round again. Actually, I think it morphed into the South Beach diet. The underlying principles are sound, but amenable to refinement.

The south beach diet is part variation, part fad, and mostly knock off. The sad thing was atkins couldn't and didn't even try to out market it.
