Its not non sequitor. The link shows which states allow (legal)
fetal aborted tissue research.
Multipotent stem cells come from
predominately aborted fetus tissue because unlike
embryonic stem cells which are are pluripotent they
differentiate into different cell types of their tissue of origin

I thought only humans (embryos) in petri dishes were used?
Why are you calming that aborted fetus use is a fallacy?
I will find my NIH data and post it for you.
Just as I posted the world abortion data.

BTW do you agree to growing human beings in petri dishes to harvest
their cells first and then their organs next?
It will come down to that since that I sincerely doubt
that all the stem cells in the world will grow let's
say a new kidney, perhaps. Growing full blown fetus's will be the only way to produce
Multipotent stem cells.(Tissues of origin).

A stem cell is a cell that hasn't decided what it wants to
be in the future. It has the potential of becoming anything
Embryonic stem cells come either from embryos in the first
few days after conception or from the developing sperm and
egg cells from aborted fetuses.

Fetal tissue research uses cells that have already made
that decision. They have become neurons, astrocytes and
microglia — the three specialized types of cells found in
the brain.

Fetal neurons are important because they are the primary
cells that are affected in the brain.
Medical Center researchers use brain cells primarily from
aborted fetuses. So far, fetuses provide the only source
of neurons that will stay alive and develop networks in
the laboratory.

The other two types of brain cells have been obtained
through rapid autopsies of both children and adults.

How could a researcher use a cell with a life of a few
hours that could become any thing from a fingernail to a
brain cell?
