Seeing how our immigration laws have been successfully thwarted by the federal government to benefit "special interests", I've no doubt we may match, and surpass the corruption Brazil is experiencing.

Considering our most "conservative" federal government in decades prosecuted only three cases against employers employing illegal immigrants in 2003, an all-time low since current laws were implemented, I wouldn't depend to much on future elections reversing the trends.
