"To which bathroom do you send a man in a dress?"

I used to work with someone who formerly fit the image of the big tall burly lumberjack type in the farmerjohns and flannel shirts. Married, kids, tattoos, etc. Someone came to me one day and said, wide-eyed and breathlessly,
"Did you hear what happened to Bob over Christmas?"
"No. What happened?" I'm thinking horrible train wreck or family tragedy or something.
"He had a sex-change operation."
Some of those distinctly masculine characteristics probably aren't going to go away, even after hormone treatment, but now he looks like some big tall burly tattooed guy whose done some freakish and irreversible things to himself.

He was more than willing to tell anyone anything they wanted to know - just ask. So I asked him, basically - "WTF?"
Well, he wants to be a lesbian, that's why. He likes girls.

Anyway, about that bathroom thing. Obviously none of the guys would let him use theirs anymore, and you can bet he's not getting into the ladies room, so management had to give him one of his own, one of those unisex single units in another building.

I cannot imagine how his life had to be so miserable before, 'living a lie' as he called it, that doing this to himself and destroying everything in his life as well as everyone's around him, could be considered an improvement.

And he She (I've been chastized) wears tank tops to show off his new chest.

"..he wants to be a lesbian. He likes girls..." Good grief--couldn't he like girls as a man? Makes no sense, but the whole transgender scene makes no sense. I've seen a couple in the women's bathroom during intermission at a theater--they Had to be transsexual--looked like crossdressers, which maybe they were.
