What??? It's mandatory to include a trigger-lock with the sale of a new hand-gun. It isn't mandatory for the owner to have to use the gun-lock. I just bought a new .45 ACP a couple of months ago and they included a trigger-lock which I don't use of course.

Oh yeah, and that will hold until someone stands up and claims: "gun owners are irresponsible - they are not making use of all the safety devices provided by the manufacturer - lets fine them $500 / gun if they are caught, or perhaps put them in jail for a year...." (not mandatory for now, but certainly mandatory tomorrow)
