From the story:
British cops tipped off Italian colleagues that he could be heading for Rome after intercepting mobile calls between him and his brother-in-law, who lives in the city.

His journey from London via Milan and Bologna was tracked and Italian police swooped when he reached Rome.

And the brother in law?

Seems to me the Brits were screaming about Abu Grab pictures, no? Muslims don't like to be paraded around naked.... Ah, how perception changes when reality hits close to home.

Any way, well done Bobbies!

I noticed this in the story as well.

For 20 minutes the men refused to give themselves up as they demanded their “rights”.

exactly. Put underwear on their head, BAD... force them into public naked, fine and dandy.

There are different standards for America, don't you know.

How true.

Just damn glad they weren't arrested here in the USA.

Well they would still be on the loose if they were living in some of our cities.

Cities where the city government refuses to cooperate with immigration agents,

Place like Houston come to mind.

Also be glad they were not arrested here because the ACLU scumbags would have been on this quicker than a Chuck Schummer New York minute.

I believe one of the terrorists told the police he had rights.

If I had been the policeman at that point of the comment my gun would have accidentally misfired ending his debate over rights.
