If it came down to choosing between your posts and that of the one overusing the word ignorant I know which side of the issue I stand on. Been my contention all along that I want to see renunciation of the type you have suggested before I'll believe a word, and even then caution should be exercised. The enemy has identified themselves and we are fools to play pc games at our own expense.
Why should I be willing to grant unlimited access to my country even for those who may be citizens, who have a belief contrary to everything my forefathers believed when they were drawn to this country in 1845, and earlier. The koran does not usurp the Constitution of the United States of America.

Renunciation can save MILLIONS of Muslim lives, eliminate their fear of retaliation and give us millions to help find the 'bad' Muslims. Seems logical if you don't believe in the brutal parts of the Koran anyway, right? How can they say they don't believe in those terrible passages, but still consider them 'holy' and binding?
The fact that too many refuse to face is we have a large group in this country whose goal is to make Islam the RULING FORCE here. Buddhists don't hold up the Upanishads and say it must dominate the world. Jews don't hold up the Torah and say submit or die. Christians certainly do not hear 'kill in the name of Jesus' from pulpits.
Denial and PC will be the death of modern civilization, and people like Casloy evidently think that's ok.
Look- I don't care if Muslims want to worship Lucifer, brutalize their women or bomb their kids- as long as they do it in the desert hellholes they belong in and do not infect the rest of the world. Contain'em in the Mid-East and let them all go at each other- they're suicidal anyway.
I simply refuse to let them take MY culture, MY family and MY country with them. I have NO problem whatever being UNfair and alive.
