I would venture that our take on Christianity is much watered down from that of 200 years ago not even considering 1000years ago. We emphasize the e,ement of forgivness through Christ not his wrath. Perhaps the Islam of the future will emphasis a softer allah. I don't know but I'm sure that our religous views are quite altered from our ancestors. People adapt---Muslims will either adapt or perish.
That's because Christianity had a Reform movement. Islam hasn't and cannot as those who preach reform wind up with their heads separated from their bodies.
