Thanks for the elderberry recipe.

This is the part I just don't get:

Remove them from their stems with a fork

How do you remove stems with a fork?

LOL! You use the fork this way:

Pull the thin stems gently through the fork tines, and the berries will pop off, being too big to go through the tines. Hard to visualize, but it's sort of like combing the stems...

But you can always use your fingers, gently, though you'll get stained...
